Full of PRide!

It has been a great year for Syndicate Communications and we are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for four CIPR Midlands PRide Awards.

This news comes not long after celebrating our second birthday – and what a way to celebrate by being shortlisted for four prestigious awards!

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the inspirational and outstanding work produced by leading public relations teams and consultancies, with category winners from nine UK regions and nations. So it is a real honour to have been acknowledged by our peers for all our work and achievements over the last year.

We have beaten around 350 entries to be shortlisted for four categories; Public Sector Campaign, Integrated Campaign, Best External Publication and Regional Campaign of the Year.

The nominations for Public Sector Campaign and Integrated Campaign are for our work with Amey and Birmingham City Council to promote the closure of the A38 tunnels (2013) (Amey-A38-Tunnels-closure) into Birmingham City Centre last summer. We helped to raise awareness of the closures across the West Midlands by organising a road show, working with key partners, and promoting the event by arranging for an Amey spokesperson to appear on BBC Midlands Today and BBC Radio WM, gaining some great coverage.

The Best External Publication and Regional Campaign of the Year awards are both for our work on the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills – Business is GREAT Britain campaign (Department-for-Business-Innovations-Skills) which demonstrated to small businesses the wealth of support, advice and expertise available through Government services and agencies.  This campaign was a great success for us resulting in over 125 pieces of media coverage with a circulation of over 112 million!

It is an exciting time for us and these nominations are a real credit to the commitment and effort made by everyone who worked on the two campaigns.

As the newest member of the Syndicate team it is truly inspiring to see the agency producing award winning campaigns and celebrating so much success which bodes well for the future.

We will be donning our dresses and dinner suits on Friday 14th November at the Ricoh Arena with everything crossed for gold!
